Reconciliation Action Plan

Wahroonga After School Care’s vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge and be respectful of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. To build a place where children, educators, families, and the wider community can respect and learn about the values, perspectives and cultures of First Nations peoples. We will create culturally safe place where we can facilitate learning opportunities for children, staff, families and the wider community to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ways of knowing, being and doing.

Wahroonga After School Care Centre will create meaningful relationships with the local First Nations community and deepen our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, perspectives and methods of caring for Land and living in harmony with the environment. We will continue embedding First Nations stories, perspectives and experiences through a wide range of learning opportunities

We are proud to be on a journey of learning and we would appreciate your help to continue it .
