Here at Wahroonga After School Care we are extremely proud of our centre and the standards we set for ourselves. The Australian government has mandated that all centres in Australia are assessed every three years to increase the levels of service and care provided to the children at any given centre. The assessment is performed by ACEQA, the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority. The development of the National Quality Standard was informed by research on best practice and the way in which high-quality education and care contributes to positive outcomes for children. It comprises quality areas, standards and elements.
